CRANBERRY SAFFRON MOCKTAIL
Utilizing super nutritious ingredients like cranberry and saffron, this mocktail not only looks special but feels special. It’s the perfect AIP mocktail for holidays, family gatherings, or when you feel like something distinctively unique.
CRANBERRY SAFFRON MOCKTAIL RECIPE
Ingredients:
15-20 threads of saffron
1/3 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
Half a lemon
2 tbsp maple syrup
A few cups of ice
8 oz Water
Directions:
Soak saffron threads in small bowl of about 2 oz of water for 10-15 minutes
Roughly chop cranberries in a food processor
Pour saffron water with threads into your cocktail shaker
Add chopped cranberries
Squeeze in juice of half a lemon
Pour in maple syrup
Add 1 cup of ice
Add 8 oz of water to shaker
Shake vigorously
Add ice to a cocktail glass
Pour mocktail mixture from shaker (using fine mesh strainer) into glass
Garnish with a cranberry and a few saffron threads (optional)
